Deposit and Cancellations

By paying the deposit – you are agreeing to all the terms and conditions as outlined. 

A deposit is required to secure each session. You must give 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your booking – if less than the required time is given, your deposit will be forfeited, and another repayment will be required to rebook. 

For mini shoot days (including Christmas minis, Mother’s day etc), the full payment is made upon booking. These shoots are often sold out and I require 72 hours notice if you need to cancel. After this time – no refunds will be made. 

 

Safety and Behaviour

The safety and behaviour remains the responsibility of the parent/carer whilst at the studio. All children are welcome but please make me aware prior to the session if your little one has any additional needs which will require me to make adjustments for the shoot. 

I cannot ever guarantee specific poses from a shoot – sometimes it may not be safe to pose a newborn a certain way, or your child may not be giving their best smiles on the day. Sessions cannot be rescheduled due to this. 

 

Images and social media

I put a sneak peek from your shoot on the day – this will have my watermark on it. It is illegal to have this taken off by someone else due to breach of copyright. As with all photographers, I retain the copyright to all photographs taken. Any photos you download from your gallery will then have my watermark removed and you have full printing rights to these images. 

Galleries remain open for 3 months only, after this time they are archived. After 6 months I no longer have access to your photos. It is your responsibility to download and back up your images for future use. 

 

Editing

Although I capture many images during a session, these will not all be in your gallery. As part of the editing process, I choose the best images and delete the ones that do not meet my standards – for example eyes closed, missed focus due to child movement etc. Under no circumstances will RAW, unedited photos be given to clients. 

 

Please make sure you are familiar with my shooting and editing style before booking. Only small imperfections will be removed – for example, scratches, bruises etc. Removing jewellery, changing colour of clothing or big alterations will not be made without an additional fee.
